It is also noteworthy that technology has definitely changed the perception of time and distance for the humanity. Years ago moving out or graduating from school automatically meant losing connections with old friends. Now people do not only stay in touch with relatives and friends living abroad but have a possibility to maintain romantic long-distance relationships. In the article of Kirk, it is stated that people admit more satisfaction from relationships when they keep a constant contact via Skype or Facebook claiming that new technology gives chance to couples seeing and talking to each other online regularly (Kirk, 2013).Therefore, despite general social panic regarding new communication technology based on the fear that it will make people more isolated and deprive them of normal face-to-face communication recent data proves the opposite. New technology allows people widening their network and being more intimate with the help of devices. Those who did not have a chance to find friends and partners in their age, religious or even hobby group now can change it with a click of a mouse.
