In the intended research study, it would be surprising to know that qualitative methodological designs, unlike quantitative, explore and discover the meaning. I can hardly tell the difference between the two of them but luckily, after the presentation, everything became clear to the extent of knowing that, in qualitative methodological designs, explorations are done with the use of research and conducted by researchers. The researchers collect information using text and photos as well as images instead of using numbers. Using numbers has been less accurate in the recent past having in mind that personal views of a problem come out clearly in words. All this is, however, with the core intentions being to understand the views of the participants. This is about the views about the concepts in the problem statement. The fact that the research problem guides the debate was surprising and more to it that it facilitates questions that enrich thoughts.
Research problems in qualitative research need exploration and understanding. The research problem should guide debate and facilitate questions that enrich understanding. The random dialing survey is done in all over the world with the main purpose being to monitor criminal justice (Cothran, 2012).
