The “emic” approach of data analysis sought to interpret the data from the perspective of the students under study. The researcher used inductive approach to ensure the themes from the data analysis reflected the student view of adaptation rather than imposed framework of the outsider. Coding and classification of data into meaningful taxonomy occurred during data collection
