Water has always been a source of aggression, tension and disputes in history. Water conflicts occur both because of the salt water and fresh water. But mostly frequent conflicts occur due to fresh water, as it is the primary source of life for people. Water is essential for drinking and irrigation, so it will always play a big role in our lives. For this reason, the problem of water shortage can easily create a situation of war and fighting between the countries. There is a strong and inevitable link between water and conflict. While water resources are a rare source of wars and violent conflicts, there is a long history of tension in relation to the attack on the water supply system and water systems as weapons during the war.
There are many assumptions about what exactly causes water conflicts. Basically the conflict created over who has authority over water systems, and accordingly, control over the population and the economy. In the military and political sphere water conflicts may escalate due to the use of water as a weapon. If we consider the industrial and agricultural area, the conflict arises from the use of huge amounts of water for industrial affairs, and the small amount that remains to society. Water conflicts can also be the result of pollution that entails the quality of water. For example, the military has most detrimental effect on water quality by producing chemical waste after use weapons. In addition to industrial, military and political
influence on the sources of water there is another reason, which in the future could affect the amount of water in the world. Those are climatic changes which have the ability to affect the availability of water globally. However, the area and the size of regional changes on future rainfall are not very well known.
