These changes also happen to the different paradigms that are characteristic of the socio-economic arrangements of life (Koppelman 23). It is important to understand that human beings live in a highly dynamic environment because of different lifestyle patterns and systems of life.
Across many societies, different efforts have been employed towards educating people on the need to co-exist harmoniously irrespective of differences existing in terms of their values and perspectives of life. Several problems have come about in the societies that we live in because of differences in our races, ethnic affiliations and location; these perspectives have affected the quality of life in different places, something that has aroused the need for social change in the way people make their judgments and evaluations.
The social problems that continue to be experienced in the form of racism and ethnicity can only be solved if people can embrace social change. This has led to the growth and development of empowerment platforms on social media and other instruments that have influence on people like the print and non-print media.
Besides racism and ethnicity, many problems continue to befall human societies that have not embraced social reforms and the need for peaceful coexistence. For instance, prejudice has been common in societies that have not embraced the value for all people and general psychological development. In these societies, people face different forms of prejudices that stem from poverty, illiteracy and other social and economic aspects.
It is evident that any form of prejudice to an individual or group of persons affects their quality of life and perspectives in that society.
