This explains why, in our group, we opted to discuss about religion as one the determining issues. As said one of us, religion is a very complicated concept which can not just be comprehended by everybody. In her opinion, she feels that religion is not real, but is just a creation of human being. This simply means that it was founded by someone who wanted to get something to bring people together as they seek for solace and comfort from the troubles of life. Therefore, she believes that it can be manipulated by people in order to achieve their selfish desires.
Religious beliefs have a great influence on the way people interact. As was said by Shibutani Tom in his symbolic interaction theory, it is among the social constructions which determine people’s reactions towards others. Therefore, in our group, we consider religion before interacting with other people especially strangers (Herman-Kinney, N.J & L.T., 2003). According the Islamic doctrines, we as ladies, should be quite cautious on the manner we relate to others. We should be submissive, humble and choosy on our manners. In this case, we should refrain from anything which can distract us from the norm. For instance, our dressing code is determined by religion. So, if we meet other people from different religions, they might influence us to adopt a new lifestyle so as to conform to their own. Unfortunately, while doing that to please them, we will be violating our own religious traditions.
As explained by Abraham Maslow in his Hierarchy of Needs Theory, human beings have diverse needs which must be progressively satisfied beginning from the most basic to the most luxurious. Unusual cohesiveness as a threat was first identified by Irving Janis (1972). Obviously, the way people respond to issues differs according to numerous factors including personal interests, awareness, social perspectives, immediate circumstances, and many more.
As a group, we have been tasked with evaluating the current system with an aim of proposing a better system that will meet the organizational desires. The group divided the work to each member or as a team of two or more group members depending on the task to be carried out.
The ongoing plans were for the children to visit a rainforest park where there are some animals in cages for them to see, an aviary, a butterfly farm and flower garden. They have invited a storyteller to read them the book she has just launched about saving the rainforest.
In the course of this semester we have had the opportunity to participate in small groups. The idea was to combine our ideas and generate plausible arguments on a number of issues as required by our instructor. The concept was not totally strange as most of us have been involved in group activities before hand.

There were about seven attendees. The meeting started ten minutes later than seven. The facilitator Jenny let some people chat a bit about what happened to their week with each other. The meeting was not as long as I had expected. Ms. Jenny first started with reading an article about family relationships and started to ask the group what they thought about the reading.
