In someone’s life, there are the ingrained patterns. These are patterns that are socially constructed. These are things that control our day to day lives. They are invisible forces that drive someone to doing something.
One day, I decided to behave like a mad man. I told one of my friends for his company as he was to take note on how the people around were to behave. I was to go to this market place where I was well known of being good and descent. They knew that a person of my kind is not easy to become mad, since my family was a respected family. It was a place where everyone knew who I was, where I came from, who my parents were, etc. at this place; I knew that that word will spread first to every corner of the town. I knew that I was to get different reaction from different kind of people. I only told this one friend who was to help me on taking note of the different reaction of the people about this plan. He was also to provide courage on whatever things I might be force to do during this time (Bott, 269).
I woke up early in the morning not telling anyone of where I was going or doing. I had picked up some old clothes which were torn and dirty the previous day. I put on the clothes and moved out. My friend who was the only one knowing of my plans was walking from a distance. As the community woke up for their daily activities, they found me at the market place. There, I was sitting down on the ground, talking to myself. They all knew that I was mad.
Word spread in the town such that within a few hours, the whole town was crowded just to confirm whether it was true or not true. My family was the first people to hear the news.
