A situation dramatic realization is clearly shown in the activities of impression and management; this can be control and even lack of control and communication of information during actual performance. On front stage information concerning the actor is given off through many ways of communication, these are managed to effectively and again convince the audience of the better showing of behavior and soothing with the role assumed. Ways of believing as a result is constructed in terms of verbal importance, which is used by the actor to establish intent, and non-verbal importance, which is used by the audience to justify the credibility of statements made by the individual. Several Attempts are made to present an idea about the version of the front, more so according to norms, mores, even jurisdiction than the behavior of the actor when she or he not presenting to the audience. Information concerning departing from accepted standard of behavior and belief is hidden from the audience in a process called mystification, making known those characteristics that are socially palpable, showing the truth in both the social role of the individual and also framework to which the role result. The actor is fully aware of the audience also realize that he or she is being watched and acts accordingly.
The back stage is basically part of hiding (Goffman, 1959, p. 113), so that some of the items such as phones, closets, and even washrooms could be used (p. 112 of Goffman, 1959). It is usually separated from front stage using curtains (p. 112Goffman 1959), it basically provide performer with privacy it’s designed as home like section for freedom. At the back stage the individual can hold to be himself or herself and think the roles that he or she play when they are in front of other people. Erving Goffman presented the idea that people are purely social creatures when it comes to the basic interaction among others. “When an individual enters the presence of others, they commonly seek to acquire information about him or to bring into play information about him already possessed” (Newman, O'Brien, 2006) This means that necessarily the professor must be willing to give up some of themselves, so that they can better interact and understand their students allowing for a better connection socially.
Basic questions on the causes of crime and deviance, the roots of social order, and the response of the criminal justice system have drawn the interests of some of the great thinkers of sociology (Ruggiero, South & Taylor 1998). The outcome is a remarkable line of sociological theories of crime, such as differential association, control, labelling, subcultural, etc (Carrabine, Iganski, Lee, Plummer & South 2004).
In sociology, people in the society get studied in a number of ways. The perspective from which sociology views the society is quite different from the way a normal person could view it. Sociology by the help of the sociological perspective achieves viewing the society from another angle.
From a tender age I have always been interested in understanding human behavior. After sociology lessons, my passion has upgraded to wanting to use the knowled from sociology to help improve the life in our society. Specifically I have aquired an interest in deeply understanding crime.
