The aspect of imagery in the lyrics is well portrayed through many phrases such as “You are a symbol of what a beautiful woman should be,/ Like the clouds, you drift away, far away” and also in the video when he sings “beautiful” repeatedly since his thoughts of beauty are mirrored by the pictures. The lyrics as expressed through the video are very significant in screening and promoting the body of Akon in connection with sexual appeal to the viewers. The two phrases of the lyrics “Watch my yellin’ as she undress” and “I’mma spend them grands, but after you undress” portrays a picture of sexuality.
The song has been very beneficial to the human race since the video captured as a result of the glamorous lyrics was a huge success as it was liked by many people. The ethnicity of the lyrics is reflected in the video since both the white and black female models have been used; their main role is to pose for the singer and also show unity between people of different colors. The phrase “Lames doesn’t know how to speak to you, so let me walk with you, hold my hands” portrays an image of neglect against the people with physical disabilities to have lacked the opportunity of dating the beautiful women. Certain circumstances change how the actors sing; in this case the phrase “When I see you, I run out of words to say (oh oh)” indicates that the singer is affected by the circumstance. It is a common sense that the sound effect has been scarcely used because it is a music video and the song itself that are supposed to be the main sound. However, at the beginning of the song, there are some sound effects.
