Download file to see previous pages... In this paper the proponent tries to conduct assessment of the current forms of Organized Crime in Columbus, Ohio. The goal is to find out if this kind of crime exists and it is whether perpetuated by youths or well-organized criminal enterprises.

From the theoretical perspective or point of view of the FBI, Lyman, Potter, Mallory and Larkin, whose researches are mentioned in this essay, the existence of criminal culture have a well-established system, which is the basic foundation of Organized Crime. This idea is supported by the thought that one could clearly understand Organized Crime by employing the principles going on with the establishment of business organizations. After all, common to these two forms of organizations are evolving systems and structures prior to their establishment. If non-criminal organizations have substantial hierarchy and bureaucracy, Organized Crime, on the other hand, works in the same principle and started from the very basic.

The well-organized criminal groups would be able to perpetuate with their criminal activities through the youths who are aggressive and most of all, have substantial considerations in the US justice system. Moreover, youths together with gang violence in Columbus, Ohio are strongly associated with drug distribution, prostitution of minors, and money laundering.
