The main aspect of disgust in relation to human beings is that it determines hygiene behaviors. Authority The article does not indicate any information concerning James Gorman who is the author. However, the author manages to include information of the scientists who played the key role in offering information related to the article. One of the researchers who has played a key fundamental role in research work concerning the issue of disgust is Paul Rozin. He is a professor at the University of Pennsylvania. Rozin described disgust as part of emotions that human beings experience regularly. Another researcher by the name Valerie Curtis who is a disgust oologist illustrated that disgust determines hygiene behaviors in human beings. For example, it determines the relationship between one another. A researcher from the University of Virginia known as Jonathan Haidt supported the fact that disgust is a model of emotions (Gorman 2). Haidt is a disgust pioneer together with another researcher known as Dr. Rozin. Other scientists who have contributed in research work about disgust include Dr. Curtis, Charles Darwin, and Daniel Fessler from the University of California.
