The response to terrorism in the United States is a show of interdependencies between different organs. The National Response Framework clearly explains the string of authority structure when receiving any information on violence and the response to that violence. The response includes the instantaneous actions made to save lives, protect people and the environment and stabilize the people following the accident. In a case of any terrorist attack, a coordinated federal response is essential. Therefore, a unified command is inevitable and requires all the people to know their responsibilities. In terrorism acts, the president leads the central government response effort in order to ensure that the best resources are applied instantly and appropriately to prevent more injuries.
This response is implemented through the Secretary of security after getting directives from the president. The other central departments can then carry out their duties and responsibilities in the disaster response following the president’s directive. The operation coordination of any terrorist attack response occurs at all government levels and involves the actions and the activities that will enable the decision makers to make the most appropriate decision.
