As a professional nurse, I would ensure that my contributions in the nurse corps scholarship program mostly meet every patient with high standards. The contribution entails being fully committed to the work and providing the best services while working with the limited facilities. My determination to work with limited facilities would be of great assistance in reducing the existing challenges. My task in contributing to the mission of the Nurse Corps will be to reduce patients’ problems in these vulnerable areas. I believe that I can build a healthy community by taking the responsibility as a committed nursecommunity. In addition, I will ensure a rise in patients quality of care due to proper good team work with my colleagues. According to Tacoma Health Department (2013), being fully focused and involved in teamwork helps the healthcare group to better the quality of care that individuals get from these vulnerable areas. These includes those with low economic capacity, racial and ethnic disputes, the uninsured, communities with low-income, high number of elderly people, those that lack proper housing. It also incorporates individuals with the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), chronic diseases, mental illness as well as people with limited access to the healthcare services and inadequate education.
