Physical facility design is another important component which outlines that the overall structure and design of the healing facility shall be such that it provides less stress to the patients. The overall link therefore is based upon providing an environment which is more conducive towards allowing patients to heal on their own. By providing a stress-less environment, healing hospitals can actually contribute towards accelerated healing. (Eberst, 2011)
The last component of a healing hospital is the development of a compassionate as well as loving culture where patients’ emotional and spiritual needs are also taken care of. By providing a culture where each stakeholder takes care of the patients can help to develop better healing hospitals. (Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, 2011)
The current hospital management system is based upon the scientific approach which requires a typical methodological approach. This also requires that the hospitals must follow certain set and rigid rules and principles in order to allow them to function effectively. In order to effectively create a better healing environment, it is important that the traditional barriers to creating such an environment are reduced.
One of the key challenges to removing such barriers is to develop the environment which is more conducive for the overall well-being of the patients.
