Their popularity grew during the early 1964 when they held the first five slots on the Billboard Hot Singles chart. The Beatle Band was a collaboration of four prominent artists. The band constituted John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Richard Starkey (Ringo). Their prominence was also promoted by the selling of more than a billion records and their favorite hits in 35 countries, globally. It is widely acceptable among analysts that irrespective of diverse challenges in the music industry, in America and globally, the Beatles ranks among the greatest bands ever. Currently, Beatles ranks among the greatest bands ever because of various reasons.
Reasons of the prominence is the justification of Beatles’ achievements and accomplishments in the American music industry and globally. They include the occupation of top five positions on the Billboard Hot 100 single chart during the week of April 4, 1964.
