The judicial systems may be influenced in many ways depending on the laws of governing a particular issue. In some scenarios, interest groups bear the task of obtaining at least 5,000 signatures to pass a particular bill. In terms of illegality, the groups may use wrong vices like corruption, manipulation and blackmail. Interest groups are said to have the most crucial information regarding people they target. They have dig deep into personal information about high personalities in the judicial system. With the information at their disposal, they have an upper hand in achieving any thing of their best interest. During election years, the groups manipulate the vulnerability of the government at the time especially if it is seeking another term in office. With the exchange of their support, they get what they want. In this scenario, top government officials are forced to manipulate court proceedings.
The role of public interest groups is very significant in courts today. Judicial personalities hesitate in passing judgment on issues pertaining strong interest groups at the expense of their careers of their careers. Many interest groups comprise of high government officials, human rights activist and other activists. In the history of many judicial personalities, the probability of perfection is about 10%, this puts them in a good position of being exposed if they do not cooperate with the interest groups ( Bell, 2002).
