When compared to the other aspects, ozone depletion has more impact on the environment, since the level of poisonous gases getting into the atmosphere has increased.(Jones, 1989). Most of the factories and manufacturing industries are the major reason for this ozone depletion. As these gases do not mix with the air easily, they stay in the atmosphere and this in turn creates health hazards.
Ozone layer is one of the important components that protect the earth. It filters ultra violet rays emitted by the sun and protects the earth from this radiation. Ozone layer is not a plain surface, instead it is depleted and this increases the chance of damage in the layer. The gases and radiation from sun spoils its layer thereby increasing the level of diseases.
Chemicals like chlorofluorocarbons and methyl chloroform increase the chances of the ozone layer getting depleted. If there is an increase in the level of emission of these chemicals, the ozone layer will get severely depleted, leading to sever environmental

This principle, if followed religiously, is useful and essential. Prevention is better than cure, as goes the age-old saying and all countries, irrespective of scientific and technological capability, must take measures to prevent damage, particularly the irreversible ones.
(Sheldon 2002) Under this new approach, environmental management is seen as an essential part f overall business and strategic management. Sustainable development and environmentally friendly systems and products are emphasized. It is proactive rather than reactive.
Natives during that time were not allowed to plant a vineyard but for sacramental purposes, wine was required by churches and monasteries so that there were vineyards on their lands (Denbies, 2007). In 1066, the Norman invasion also paved local wine production as wine was required for Mass, but when King Henry II married Eleanor of Aquitania now known as Bordeaux in 1152, trade links diminished local production (Denbies, 2007).
Of late a new dimension has been added to their woes in the form of sustainable integration with environment. Being a nascent discipline organisations are engrossed in finding out what impact their business activities have on the environment. Universal tools to assess these impacts are still in a dynamic stage.
We all cried or felt deep sorrow when we watched films shot by PETA activists, films that reveal the tragedies of tortured and mutilated animals. We all were horrified to see huge amounts of rubbish in certain countries, dirty, polluted waters, factories that produce large amounts of smoke, threatening the lives of those who live in the areas nearby.
Waste management now includes the three Rs’ that is Reduce, Reuse and Recycle with dumping as the final way out (http://www.ace. mmu.ac.uk/eae/Sustainability/Older/Waste_Disposal.html retrieved December 6, 2009).
According to The European Union waste is "any substance or
