College Students....In my opinion there are 3 types of College students: Ones who are really there to get an education, Ones who are there just to recieve financial aid, and ones that are looking for a soul mate

Download file to see previous pages... Many people believe that people attend college solely for their education and, in many cases, students do as such. They either come from a family that expects higher education to be pursued, or they, of their own accord, want to better themselves in regard to their education so that they can get a good job upon graduation. Some students even attend college just for the new knowledge, having no intentions to get a job or change their career once they have graduated. These students take their studies seriously and they do everything in their power to maintain good grades. Once they graduate, they either continue onto graduate school for a higher level of their degree, or they set out to look for a great job that caters to their new knowledge and the reason they went to college to begin with.
The second type of college student is the one that is attending school solely to take advantage of financial aid. When students prove to be financially unable to attend college, there are many student loan, grant and scholarship opportunities for the student. However, to obtain these, and to keep them, a student must be in school more than half-time or full-time. These are the students that are usually too lazy to get a job or, in very few cases, unable to get a job. They realize that as long as they stay in school, this money will be available to them. One of the things that these students have in common is that they have to maintain good grades to keep the money coming to them. These are the students that do take their schoolwork and education seriously, even if that is not the reason for them being in school. Especially if the student is depending on student loans, which need to be paid back, the student focuses on their education enough to get a decent job after graduation to pay off their loans.
