A detailed PERT/CPM of the project was prepared by the proponent using the software, Microsoft Office Project 2003. Thorough review of the outcome, especially with the Critical Path, reveals encouraging and practically precise results.
The program was able to pinpoint accurately the activities that require extra attention in order to maximize construction time as well as extend minor activities without giving a dent in the execution of the project. Moreover, it clearly defines the recourse should a slump occur in a particular activity and responded well to different conditions affecting the construction process.
The graphs presented show the ups and downs of the conditions presented. Common problems like delayed project completion and unavailability of materials can be avoided and payment schedules can be efficiently handled.
