This helped her in the identification of individuals who were appreciative of the chocolate and those who did not like the quality, the effect, and taste of the shop product.
Vienne also interpreted nonverbal signs that were relevant in assisting her in understanding people’s perception of her behavior, dressing mode as well as her booming business. Her effective interpretation of both verbal and non-verbal communication helped Vienne to recognize the mystical legacies, myths, and history that revolves around chocolate and its products. Her understanding of the myths surrounding chocolate also furnished Vienne with adequate information on the need of mixing elements for her comedy, drama, and sensuality recipe. As she stated, “I was very drawn to the charms and the magic of the village regarding chocolate products” (Brownell, 2013). Vienne was mostly interested in creating a balanced mixture of dramatic surprises and humor as well as definite and real emotional honesty. By interpreting people’s perception, Vienne was in a position to give people faith in their daily activities which they later gave back to her.
