Download file to see previous pages When compared to other media the internet is rated as the highest sexualized media with increased number of youth who accidentally or even intentionally encounter pornographic content. One of the likely reasons of this development may be because of the way the internet is presented and prioritized among many youths. Many of these Internet gadgets are portable which makes the online activity to be portable and hence, highly unmonitored. This unmonitored access poses potential risks too many youths and to the society as a whole. This paper will try to analyses the ethical considerations of photography and access of internet.
Phonography raises several moral questions, as many in the society perceive it immoral. Some of the ethical issues that have been posed by many regarding ponography include is there moral objection regarding phonographic materials of not? Is it in order for the government to regulate phonographic materials access to adults? Olen &Barry in there book, Applying Ethics, argues that the morality of pornography is separate and distinct from the issue of state regulation on access of pornography by adults. Many arguments on censorship tend to assume that phonography is wrong morally and therefore this should not be the only reason to suppress it. The morality issue of pornography is an academic issue under study until researchers are able to establish whether it is indeed immoral (Olen, J., & Barry, 1997).
Pornography is degrading to human beings. Every phonographic material has an aspect that degrades human. It separates sex from love, concentrates on strong sexual desire at the expense of human emotions, and arouses the strong sex desire of its viewers and even reducing humanity to animal level (Lewis, 2007).
