The patient lacked the ability to communicate her feelings to the nurses. When one lacks to express it results in her being stressed and tenses, also could make her uncomfortable with the relationships between her and nurses and leads to low self-esteem and depression. The expression of the patient could have complicated resulting to wrong interpretation of the message by the nurses (Mehrabian, 2007).
 The cultural differences and personal experiences of the patient could have affected how messages are interpreted. The patient was also neglected by the nurses, and this could have reduced her self-esteem. Rejecting a person’s presence and abstracting him or her from communication it makes him or she feel degraded, ridiculed, isolated and detached. This may cause strong fear in someone (Larry, 2009).
 The problem the patient was experiencing at the hospital can be blamed to the hospital management because it is the one that is supposed to arrange on how their staff serves the patients and also should arrange for patient monitoring, to enable them to know who has been attended and who has not and the reasons behind it, that way they should have known how to serve the patient in the particular case. The hospital should have organized for somebody to translate for the patient what she did not understand from the nurses.
