Report # 17 "Direct Service Staff Turnover in Supported Living Arrangements: Preliminary Results and Observations" Steve Seninger and Meg Traci surveyed seven private service corporations regarding their operational costs associated with direct service staff turnover. The factors of the corporations varied: size, service portfolios, and regions.
The demographics of the corporations were measured. Several of the factors measured were the following: number of employees, proportion of part-time employees, "low end" hourly salary, "high end" hourly salary, eligibility period for salary increase, amount of pay increase, number of individuals served, and direct service staff to consumer ratio.
