In this paragraph, Frost Robert in his book “The Road Not Taken, and Other Poems,” uses the poem to show his hopelessness. He does it by using a pathless wood filled with cobwebs. The pathlessness and face burning and tickling with the cobwebs indicates that the speaker cannot see clearly his future. However, the speaker hopes to come back reenergized and begin a fresh his efforts of life (Frost 16).
