Professor Moriarty is especially cunning and hides all manner of evidence that could lead back to him, including poisoning Irene Adler (Rachel McAdams). This he also uses as a warning to Sherlock Holmes that if he continues countering the professor’s actions, the same might also happen to his closest friend Dr. Watson (Jude Law) and his newly-wedded wife, Mary Watson (Kelly Reilly).
The ensuing drama and action takes us from Victorian London to Paris and Switzerland where they also happen to meet Sherlock’s brother, Mycroft (Stephen Fry), who is well connected in the diplomatic realm and proves to be an indispensable asset. The viewer is treated to a great deal of the scenery in that particular point of history only that we have to look quickly as the movie dashes through episodes. Unfortunately, this did not contribute well in bringing out the classic Holmes story. But it is understandable because, in the current world of movie production, a chance of getting an authentic Sherlock Holmes movie is rather difficult.

Dr. Watson also plays a major role in the movie, being more involved in the action not only as a friend and chronicler, but also as a hero.
Holmes remains my most favorite character in the movie. His humorous choice of words as well as disguise takes the viewers by surprise, especially at ...Download file to see next pagesRead More

Watch movies and talking about why its harmful to voters.( you could chose any topic you like)

.... The successful party propaganda efforts of Adolf Hitler in the 1930s had set a notorious benchmark. Ever since, political campaigns have come exclusively to depend on marketing success and not on the merits of election manifestos. These days the same PR firms that sell us toothpaste and detergent also sell us our next President. Hence, as The Century of the Self indicated in grave tone, politics today has become an exercise in tapping our primordial fears and instincts. Politics is no more a reasoned discourse on the merits and demerits of policies. The documentary Toxic Sludge is Good For You is again another indictment of the PR industry. It talks of the unholy alliance between big corporations, political parties and...

Critical review/ james bond movies

...Critical Review: James Bond film Golden Eye James Bond movies are a total entertainment package. They contain action, suspense and an element of romance. In the film Golden Eye, all these elements are very well integrated into a cohesive and coherent plot. Two features have particularly caught my attention. These are its charismatic hero and well laid out plot. Pierce Brosnan fits perfectly as the lead character. He is charming, handsome and carries himself with a sense of style. Brosnan’s acting too deserves credit, for playing James Bond is a unique challenge. Not since Sean Connery has a Bond actor captured the imagination of the audience in this fashion. Brosnan brings his own natural personality to...

After watching this advertisement, the general perception I drew about the Whites was somewhat grand and physically powerful while the image of Blacks went down to slavery that was ever associated with them. Although it is an advertisement of gaming consoles, the idea about the racial differences remain an important part of this billboard advertisement making it questionable and unacceptable for many viewers. In my opinion, the advertisement is disrespectful to one race and provides a hidden meaning of superiority of Whites over the Blacks that remain discriminatory in its true essence. If...
