This is because of what they have read about or have heard their friend discuss or brag about the product. In reality, every customer wants something that is long lasting. For example, so many companies are manufacturing computers. However, customers tend to select companies like Samsung, Apple as compared to other manufacturers. This is not because the other manufacturers do not have quality services but the giant manufacturers can prove to them their imagination of resistance and the ability to last for long. Such giant companies win their customers’ trust through intensive advertising. Through this kind of domination, small companies have little space and chances to advertise thus getting very little recognition.
Everyone wants to associate with a trendy and classic item. Each time an innovation hits the market with a great magnitude, people are always after it. Some get to realize later that they might have bought fake items of the same kind though. Markets that consist of teens demand for trendy clothing and jewelry. Take an example of the Abercrombie & Fitch Company, which deals with casual designer clothes. It targets teens aged between fifteen years and twenty-five years. With more than 1200 store outlets across the globe, it has won the teen market. The company understood the growing mentality in teens of imitating celebrities in the manner of their dressing and their likelihood to show off in their social circles. This according to many researches done helps them improve their confidence and self-esteem. Generally, customers want to associate themselves with something that is of high class.
