It was found most of the Facebook users came from a privileged background as compared to MySpace users. Moreover, the academic achievement determined individual preference to any particular social site. The difference was most common among teenagers. The insight on this culture has been through the usage of social sites. By using the sites, I have come to realize that certain social sites are a reflection of groups such as professionals, academics, and celebrities. For example, joining some site that does not fit your group makes it difficult to interact and communicate with those that are well suited in that site.
