Download file to see previous pages As we entered the restaurant the doorman cheerfully invited us. This was a primary quality to be noticed while evaluating any restaurant or service providing organization.
As we entered the restaurant, I could relate the theme to the Italian country side which was mesmerizing and serene. But the thing which took off my attention was the color they choose to paint the wall. The beige color of the wall did not match the ambience and I would prefer a green shade to give it more green and naturalistic touch. However, the seats and chair were arranged perfectly in order and the table was decorated with a beautiful green and white table cloth. As I sat down the waiter arrived at the table to pour water in the goblet and take the order. One thing I noticed as I drank water was the cleanliness and clarity of the goblet and water.
As my mom is less knowledgeable about the Italian menu, she expected the waiter to help her in choosing the menu. But I on the other hand ,went on to choose my kind of food from the menu list. As I scroll down the menu I noticed that the menu card had little wear and tear. It is mandatory for a famous restaurant like “La Italia” to keep their menu card clean and tidy. As I was gazing towards the appetizer, I got attracted to the appetizer which was made of Goat cheese and tomato with a house made bread. I ordered it and was head over heels in love with it. As I ate the appetizer, I also was noticing the attitude of the waiter, which was fortunately very pleasing. He served the wine of best quality and it supplemented well with the food.
The menu card of ‘La Italia’ consisted of salads, specialties, traditional Italian entrée’s and pastas. However I and mom ordered Lasagna with Bolognese and ricotta cheese with asparagus sauce. When this entrée arrived to table, I noticed that cheese was bubbling and this was very enticing. When I tasted the food, it was like heaven given to my palate.
