The Austrian Oak: Genisys

Many people were waiting with the bated breath for the return of famous wrestler, actor, athlete, and governor in one face known as The Austrian Oak or Iron Arney. A lot think that most of the episodes starring Schwarzenegger in this year’s release features scenes from the original movies. But, as the Premier has already shown (CIS has watched the movie on the 1st of July), the fifth part has nothing to do with the previous four. No, I don’t mean the plot. I mean the old actors and moments.

The Austrian Oak: Genisys-1

So, don’t worry: you will enjoy a completely new vision with a little feedback. After all, you can always catch a nostalgia by watching the first two movies. Sarah Connor is always there, waiting for you, regardless of what part you are watching. You may now wonder why there were no original scenes included in the film.

The Austrian Oak: Genisys-2From the very beginning, a director wished to change the past and add up to a completely different future to make the audience interested. The central episode where model T-800 was first released to kill Sarah, on May 12th, 1984, is repeated in details once again. The primary reason for doing so is that it’s, perhaps, the top favorite moment of all franchise lovers. At first, only this episode was planned to remain unchanged. However, the rights ownership and license did not allow the new crew is inserting this episode from the original movie of 1984. Thus, there was nothing left to do than re-shooting naked Arney. However, we all can see his excellent body despite old age.

All those who attended the premier in New York could contact Arney face-to-face. A brief Q&A session with California governor pointed to many interesting facts and shooting process. Schwarzenegger does not look his 67 at all. His strong uploaded body made every single woman sweat.

The Austrian Oak: Genisys-3Not only he asked harassing questions concerning his cyborg role: he commented on everything from Predator to Avatar. He also expressed his attitude towards modern cinematography, women, and politics. He shared Behind the scenes details willingly. Many actors hate doing that as well as spoiling, but Arnold is not that kind of greedy guy.

He seemed rather cheerful and friendly. Schwarzenegger still hopes that movies featuring his face will become the most expected motion pictures of the year. Well, he is absolutely right in our case: Genisys is, in fact, the most anticipated movie of 2015. He has not disappointed a lot of fans yet, so the chances of occupying a worthy position in the series are pretty high. Most of the fans may hesitate why they don’t get to see a young Bill Paxton terrorize a very naked T-800.

Arnold said that two first parts of the sequel were owned by two different entities while the third one turned bankrupt and its rights were sold to David and Megan Ellison. These two created the final film as for today. The question is whether a contemporary interpretation of the same episode looks persuasive. Well, judge yourself!

A lot of studios have owned the rights during various periods: MGM and Warner Bros were among them, competing with Universal.

That’s why the footage from at least two first blockbusters was impossible to include. Each year, it becomes more complicated to fight for the exclusive right to shoot just another film in a row of the famous franchise. So, it makes many people doubt if the fifth part is really the last one.

The Austrian Oak: Genisys-4

It was also interesting to hear about the attitude of famous actor towards the entire franchise. He criticized Salvation for its platitude and unconvincing archetype of his dear robot. The actor also said that the three films that he was in had their own personalities, and he could not pick a favorite. Well, he always was a “modest” man “of honor.”

Just to remind you, new Terminator: Genisys has been directed by Alan Taylor and stars Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor, Jason Clarke as John Connor, and Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese.
