It is true that corporate organizations are recognized by the Supreme Court as persons but in the real sense they do not run themselves. They are managed by other people. They create a case of persons running a person. When the management falls short of social responsibility, then these corporate organizations turn out to be psychopathic in behavior. It is with no doubt at this point that regulation of corporate organizations by government is inevitable and viewing them as psychopathic entities is the best place to always begin.

Psychopath in Corporate Governance The world of corporate governance has really widened and it is more of a global feature than a one state figure (Bruno, Valentina and Claessens 2006, p. 461-482). These corporations are in no doubt influencing the lives of many people in a direct way. Corporate have been seen to be contributive to what we see, what we dress, what we eat and even where we sleep. It is no doubt that its governance commands a global approach hence unification of the legal frameworks needs to start being championed for.

This is mainly because different countries have different set of rules that offer guidelines to conduct of corporations. Joel Baken did not put a focus on this fact though his work is still a great insight to governance and regulation of corporations. . The ideal of limited liability has been the mother to this behavior. The liability of any corporate organization extends only to the assets of that particular organization. This is something I quite agree with Baken. In case a company is faced by any financial incapability, then the shareholders who are the owners of the company have their personal property protected that they only loose the shareholding share only.

Psychopathic gets an excellent grounding through the legal personality of the corporate organizations (Wellons 2012, p. 42-45). This legal acknowledgement has deprived the real owners, the share holders, and their true feel of their company. Though they participate in the running of the organization through election of the board of directors, they lack that true feeling of ownership. Take a look of the life of an employee whom the company has bought for him a personal car yet a shareholder of the same company foots to and from job as he cannot afford to buy one.

This is where controversies begin. Thirdly is the fact that these corporations are profit-driven. At the end of every financial year a report has to be tabled by the management of the company to the shareholders. The pressure that is on directors from the shareholders creates a scene for anything to be done as long as the shareholder is kept happy. Actually I totally agree with Joel Baken that emphasis on profits and profits alone has propelled the psychopathic behavior. The directors only take into the interest of the shareholders alone at the expense of the interests of other people.

They will not care how other people feel as long they can afford to put a smile on the faces of the
